Visit by Gordon Siu and Cynthia Wong of the Hong Kong Music for Our Young Foundation on 2 Nov.

Performance by the Kian Kok School Concert Band for visiting guests from Hong Kong namely Mr. Gordon Siu (Founder and Chairman) and Ms. Cynthia Wong (Executive Director) of the Hong Kong Music for Our Young Foundation (MOY).

Meeting with all the teachers-in-charge of each ensemble to plan for the Hong Kong Concert Trip next September.

Mr. Gordon Siu and Ms. Cynthia Wong were later treated to a "seafood" lunch at the Grand Port View Restaurant by the school.

"Between" - A Clarinet Recital by Beatrice Sen Yee Yee

The Recital was held in Kian Kok Middle School with guest appearance by Bryan Leong who played duets with Beatrice. Beatrice is now on her final year of music study in Taiwan. She is the former member of the Kian Kok School Concert Band.

KKYO & Kian Kok String Camp at Kian Kok Middle School

The Kian Kok Strings are very fortunate to have guest tutor & conductor from the Jerudong International School, Mr. Jamie Sales to tutor them from 15-18 August. The training was very intensive, almost the whole day for the whole camp.

Upcoming debut concert : 30th Aug 2008

Venue : Kian Kok Middle School School Hall

Time : 7.30pm sharp

Make sure you'll be there to give a support for us !

For the upcoming debut concert, practising camps has been made and we're very proud to have Mr. Jamie Sales, a violin and viola teacher from Phillipine, currently teaching at the Jerudong International School, Brunei, here to have a workshop with the Strings . There aren't much photos as there was no time even to take a break !
